ArcaMax Gardening Newsletter Expanded

March 10, 2004 -- Someone once said a green thumb is result of a well-planned garden. Spring is almost here, prompting ArcaMax Inc. to expand its free gardening newsletter to a daily publication on March 3.

From seeding to weeding, the newsletter includes an array of tips, questions and answers. The daily publication doubles the amount of content already being sent with the bi-monthly regional reports – a combination of hints, useful Web sites and upcoming events specific to 14 areas across the United States. Content is provided by the National Gardening Association (NGA), which is a leading online source for gardening information.

The daily gardening newsletter is the latest addition to the growing list of ArcaMax newsletters. The company, located in Newport News, Va., has 25 publications covering topics that include parenting, entertainment, weird news, trivia, recipes, cartoons, and jokes.

The regional gardening reports - with over 30,000 subscriptions total in the 14 regions - have been among the company's most successful publications.

"I enjoy experimenting a little with my plants and you have given me many ideas and most of them do work," says Jean Little, a subscriber from California.

In April, ArcaMax will launch a new Web site that will feature individual pages for gardening and each of its other newsletters. The site will provide quick and easy access to content and is keeping in mind subscribers' requests for archived newsletters and printer-friendly versions.
